Marriage Preparation - How You Can Help: |

|
The Marriage Preparation program is always looking for people who are willing to come to a Marriage Preparation day and act as “host” – that is, - welcome the engaged couples when they arrive, - assist in registering them for the class and distributing class materials, - talking with the couples on breaks and ensuring that people feel comfortable throughout the proceedings - setting out the lunch (for full-day classes) - assisting in distribution of certificates at the end of the day - assisting in clean-up of the space after the couples depart.
Sometimes people come for an entire day and assist from beginning to end. But in many cases, people don’t have the whole day free, and are only available for a shorter span of time. We welcome assistance throughout the day, for however long or short a time you may be available; we are most in need of people - at the beginning of the day (9:00-10:30am), - at lunchtime (noon-1:30pm), - and at the close of the day (2:30 or 3:00pm until the day is finished, with clean-up afterward).

Each month the Marriage Preparation department of the Family Life / Respect Life Office will designate a prayer intention to help couples have a joyful successful marriage. Please join us in prayer and add a bookmark to this page to view the new prayer intention posted each month.

I become a Marriage Preparation Class Teacher? We are looking for new presenters for our Marriage Preparation Classes! If you feel called to share your experience of marriage and the Catholic faith with rooms full of engaged couples, we'd love to offer you training, tips, and opportunities to present (small segments at first, and longer talks as you get more comfortable and confident).
